Im not trying to gain or lose weight. I just would like to tone up and build a little more muscle. I lift weights and do cardio every day.

eat tuna, eggs, and otehr sources of food that have protein in them. Tuna is low in fat, no carbs, and has high protien.

If you want to build some muscle, slow down on the cardio. When you lift weights and do rigorous cardio at the same time, you won’t benefit yourself either way because your energy systems will be competing. But rather, lift as you usually do, eat well, proteins and etc, but when you do cardio, make sure you do it at a comfortable pace, try to not to get your heart rate up very high at all and you’ll be able to build muscle easier.

You need to get 1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight. If you are at a constant weight, add about 500 calories a day. Not junk food though. Chill on the cardio, just 20 minutes once a week. You can gain up to a pound of muscle a week if you have a good routine. Don’t forget your whey protein.
