What foods can I eat and what shouldn’t I eat on a muscle building weight diet?

I’m already eating tuna, chicken, and I’m drinking muscle milk 3 times a day (before/after work outs and before sleep). However I’m not sure what else is a good food to be eating. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Fruits, vegetables, rice, potatoes, pasta, etc. You don’t have to be so focused on protein. Eat carbs before you work out so that you have energy. Eat protein after you work out to help repair and build the muscles. Anything organic is a good food to eat, anything with a lot of carbs that are not sugar, anything with a lot of protein, anything with not a lot of fat, unless it’s organic.. like nuts are good, for example. When you look at ingredients, the fewer ingredients it has, the better. Watch out for artificial sweeteners and coloring. Good luck!
By the way what is muscle milk?
